A source of funding is live for businesses that are not eligible for other support schemes (including, but not limited to Small Business Grant Fund (SBGF); Retail, Hospitality and Leisure Grant (RHLGF) etc).
However, businesses who have applied for the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme are eligible to apply for this scheme.
This is an additional fund to the SBGF or the RHLGF for businesses not eligible to these schemes and which have a relatively high ongoing, fixed property-related costs who can demonstrate they have suffered significant fall in income due to the COVID-19 crisis.
For businesses falling under the authority of Stockport Borough Council, the application window closes on Wednesday 3rd June 2020 at 5pm. Please note that differing, earlier application closing dates may apply for other local authorities.

- businesses with relatively high ongoing fixed property-related costs
- businesses which can demonstrate that they've suffered a significant fall in income due to the coronavirus outbreak
- small businesses in shared offices or other flexible workspaces (eg mills, units in industrial parks, market traders, B&Bs etc)
- businesses which occupy property, or part of a property, with a rateable value or annual rent or annual mortgage payments below £51,000
